TUNIS, Dec 17: The Kuwait youth artistic gymnastics team clinched two medals—a silver and a bronze—during their debut at the ongoing Mediterranean Championship in Tunisia, which runs until December 19.

The team, comprising Musa Al-Sahaf, Saud Al-Radini, Ali Abdul Hadi, and Khaled Al-Dhaham, secured second place in the team event, finishing behind Italy, which claimed gold, while Algeria took third place. Individually, Musa Al-Sahaf earned the bronze medal in the all-around category, adding to Kuwait’s medal tally.

Fahad Al-Soula, President of both the Kuwaiti and Arab Gymnastics Federations, expressed his delight at this achievement, emphasizing the progress Kuwaiti gymnastics has made. He commended the players and praised the efforts of their Ukrainian coach, Vitaly Arseniev, from the "Blue Gymnastics" academy.

The Kuwaiti team's participation in the Mediterranean Championship, which began on December 9, was facilitated by a special invitation from the Arab Gymnastics Federation, allowing Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar to join this edition of the competition.
