Kuwaiti digs his own grave

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: The Sabah Al-Ahmad police have detained for interrogation an unidentified Kuwaiti for damaging state property (colliding with police vehicle), escaping from police and assaulting a lieutenant, reports Al-Anba daily.

A security source said the Kuwaiti justified his escape by saying he did not have the car registration document. However, police are checking if he is wanted by law in connection with crimes and his blood sample will be sent to the lab to ensure he was not under the influence of drugs.

The security source said if the man had not escaped he would be given a citation for driving the vehicle without the registration instead now he is charged with escaping from police, assaulting an officer on duty and colliding with a police vehicle
