BAGHDAD, Oct 23: The Arab Judo Championship held in Erbil saw Kuwaiti clubs assert their dominance, sweeping the top positions in the junior club category.

According to the official statement from the Arab Judo Championship media office, the results underscored the excellence of Kuwaiti clubs, earning praise for the high technical level displayed by Arab junior athletes, highlighting the continued growth of judo across the Arab region.

In the competition, Salmiya Club secured first place, followed by Khaitan Club in second, Qadsia Club in third, and Kuwait Club in fourth.

The championship was attended by Engineer Nouman Shahir, President of the Arab Judo Federation, his advisor Yassin Al-Ayubi, Dr. Adi Al-Rubaie, President of the Iraqi Judo Federation, and other national federation heads. The matches across all weight categories were highly competitive, showcasing strength, determination, and skill, with enthusiastic support from spectators and active engagement from the participating delegations.
