KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14, (Agencies): Following the triumph of the “Kuwaiti Theater in 100 Years” symposium held during the Kuwaiti Artists Association’s artistic and cultural season, the association is gearing up for another engaging event. Titled “Origins of the Kuwaiti Song,” this upcoming symposium is scheduled for this Wednesday in the esteemed “Shadi Al-Khaleej” hall within the association’s premises. Distinguished composer Anwar Abdullah, the association’s vice president, and Dr. Fahd Al-Faras, former head of the Department of Music Education at the College of Basic Education, will be the featured speakers.

The symposium’s focus will revolve around the emergence, growth, and radiance of the Kuwaiti song, led by the pioneering first generation.
