KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: The Kuwaiti youth football team embarked on an external training camp in Turkey two days ago, where it will prepare until September 12. During the camp, the team is slated to play five friendly matches as part of their buildup for the Asian Youth Cup qualifiers. Kuwait will host Group Three of the qualifiers from September 21 to 29.
Croatian coach Dario Bašić has named a 24-player squad for the camp. The roster includes Muqdad Safar, Talal Al-Matroud, Jassim Shamouh, Hussein Kankouni, Hussein Al-Aryan, Abdullah Fares, Abdullah Al-Ayoub, Khaled Al-Kharqawi, Abdullah Al-Sarraf, Khaled Al-Othman, Mohammed Arhama, Mohammed Al-Suraie, Ahmed Boudi, Jassim Al-Matar, Fadel Al-Sarraf, Turki Al-Yousef, Mohammed Al-Omran, Abdullah Al-Basri, Ahmed Al-Rashidi, Montaser Suleiman, Omar Al-Azmi, Eid Talal, Jassim Al-Enezi, and Bandar Nawaf.
