DUBAI, Oct 12: Kuwait concluded training today at Shabab Ahli Dubai Stadium in the UAE, preparing for a friendly match against a Moroccan local team tomorrow at Al Awir Stadium.

The Kuwaiti delegation arrived in the UAE from Tashkent following a friendly against Uzbekistan last Thursday, which ended in a 2-0 loss for Kuwait.

Portuguese coach Helio Sousa focused the past two days of training on correcting mistakes from the Uzbekistan game, stressing discipline, strict adherence to instructions, and maintaining high concentration to achieve a strong result.

Looking ahead, Kuwait will face Mauritania on November 25 in a playoff match for the Arab Cup, set to begin in Qatar in early December. The team will also hold a training camp in Cairo, Egypt, in November, with friendlies against Tanzania and Gambia on November 14 and 18, before traveling to Doha for final preparations.

In other news, Morocco defeated Egypt 2-0 last Friday in a friendly held at Al Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia, Rabat.

The Arab Cup draw placed Morocco in Group B, alongside Saudi Arabia, the winner of Oman vs. Somalia, and the winner of Yemen vs. Comoros.

Morocco coach Tarik Sektioui is exploring alternative strategies following requests from clubs Renaissance Berkane, FAR Rabat, and Wydad Casablanca to release players after the Egypt friendly, allowing them to focus on continental competitions this month.

The squad includes seven FAR Rabat players, five from Renaissance Berkane, and two from Wydad Casablanca, but is without Osama El Milioui, who withdrew due to injury.
