KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: The Kuwait Winter Games Club held on Saturday sporting and social activities to celebrate the country’s 61st National Day, which falls on February 25th, and the 31st Liberation Day on the 26th February, amid great participation and an atmosphere of joy from the players and members of the club and their families.
In this regard, the club’s President, Fahid Al-Ajmi, expressed in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) the warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to the honorable Kuwaiti people, wishing continued progress and glory.
Al-Ajmi stressed the club’s keenness to participate in the great joys that the country is experiencing on these two cherished occasions, by presenting several competitions and prizes on the club’s snowy hall. He pointed out that the club’s male and female players who are affiliated with the club’s school for talents and in the various winter games supervised by the club presented a sports performance operetta in the club’s hall that enhance the values of love and loyalty to the homeland. He pointed out that these celebrations come as an expression and embodiment of the love of the Kuwaiti people, who are members of the club, for their country, Kuwait, which has given and continues to give its children a lot in various fields, including the sports field, pledging to continue working to raise the flag of Kuwait high in foreign sports forums.
