KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Kuwait won the silver medal on Monday in the fencing competition in Asian U-23 Fencing Championship, South Korea won the gold medal. Kuwait team players were Abdul Karim Muhammad, Muhammad Al-Fadhli, Ali Issa and Juma Abdulaziz. Iraq and Iran teams won the bronze medal (third place) in the championship held in Kuwait.
In the women's team competitions, the South Korean team won the gold medal after defeating Hong Kong, which won the silver, while the teams of Iran and Kazakhstan won the bronze.
