KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25: Kuwait’s youth bowling team continued its stellar performance in Asia, claiming gold and silver medals at the Asian Youth Bowling Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from August 20 to 27.

The national team secured first place in the team event, led by Hasan Qasim, Abdulrazzaq Mohammed, Nasser Al-Kandari, and Adel Ebel. In the doubles event, Hasan Qasim and Abdulrazzaq Mohammed earned second place, while Hasan Qasim also topped the overall individual standings.

Sheikh Talal Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, President of both the Kuwait and International Bowling Federations, expressed his delight over the achievement, highlighting the athletes’ dedication and the strong support from Kuwait’s leadership.

He emphasized that the recent success reflects the continuous efforts to nurture young talent and advance the sport at both continental and international levels.

Sheikh Talal congratulated the athletes, coaching and administrative staff, and the players’ parents for their support, noting that teamwork and a clear strategic plan have been key to Kuwait’s bowling accomplishments.
