AMMAN, May 17: The Kuwaiti youth, junior, and girls artistic gymnastics teams delivered an impressive performance at the West Asian Gymnastics Championships, securing a total of nine medals—six gold, one silver, and two bronze—on the second day of the competition held in Amman, Jordan.

In the individual events, Abdullah Behbehani of the upper national team captured gold in the all-around category, while Saud Al-Rudaini secured gold in the junior division. His teammate, Musa Al-Sahaf, contributed to the tally with a silver medal in the same category.

Kuwait also dominated the team competitions, with both the youth and junior teams capturing gold medals by finishing first in their respective categories.

Sarah Al-Qattan claimed gold in the floor exercise (HP3), while Nawal Al-Zamel secured gold in the vault (HP3). Fatima Al-Nama earned bronze in the all-around junior women’s competition, and Shahah Al-Mulla took bronze in the floor exercise (HP3).
