KUWAIT CITY, May 25: The State of Kuwait has expressed strong support for the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) recent verdict calling for an end to Israeli military aggression in the Palestinian city of Rafah. In a press release issued on Saturday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of implementing all temporary measures announced by the ICJ since South Africa filed its lawsuit against the Israeli occupying forces.

The Ministry reiterated its call for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by compelling Israel to cease all forms of aggression against the Palestinian people. The ICJ, the United Nations' highest court, ordered the Israeli occupation regime to "immediately" halt its military assault on Rafah and to withdraw its troops to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
