Kuwait warns public - One OTP away from fraud

KUWAIT CITY, July 10: The Cybercrime Department at the Ministry of Interior has warned citizens and expatriates against sharing their data with unofficial entities. The department stressed the need to refrain from sharing sensitive data — such as the civil identification number or the One-Time-Password (OTP) issued by banks, or any banking or personal information — with any unofficial entity to avoid being exposed to fraud.
