Meanwhile, the General Traffic Department at the Interior Ministry -- in cooperation with the Technical Inspection Department, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Kuwait Municipality -- carried out a joint traffic and security campaign targeting workshops, garages and vehicles in Fahaheel Industrial Area.

In a press statement on Saturday, the Interior Ministry revealed that the campaign is part of its ongoing efforts to maintain public order and curb violations. The Ministry of Interior announced that the campaign resulted in the discovery of 93 traffic violations, administrative seizure of 93 vehicles due to failure to meet safety and durability standards, referral of four individuals to the concerned authorities for violating the Residency Law, six reports filed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and removal of 14 abandoned vehicles by the Municipality. The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such campaigns fall within its strategy to enforce the rule of law and guarantee public safety and security.
