Kuwait University ranks 1st in scientific research field locally

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Kuwait University (KU) ranked first among universities in the scientific research field in Kuwait, with advanced results in Asia and the world, within the AD Scientific Index 2023 global classification. “AD Scientific Index” is a system for ranking universities in the scientific research field, with a different methodology based on the data of the Scientific Researcher “Google Scholar platform” for Faculty Members, and the number of citations for the researcher’s publications and the results of The last five years in approved research indicators.

Results showed progress in the ranking of Kuwait University locally from a total of 14 universities and research institutions, during the previous five years, compared to the current year 2023. Kuwait University acquired advanced results in the Asian region from a total of 10,119 universities and research institutions, as well as advancing globally. (KUNA)
