KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah discussed on Monday, with the British UK Defense Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa Air Marshal Martin Sampson, aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries. In a statement, Kuwait's Defense Ministry said that discussion took place when Sheikh Dr. Abdullah received the visiting British official and his accompanying delegation.

The statement noted that the meeting witnessed honoring a number of Kuwaiti army officers, National Guard, and graduates of the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, for their tremendous efforts during their scholarship and study period. The meeting was attended by UK Ambassador to Kuwait Belinda Lewis, Head of the Military Education Authority Major General P.S.C. Fahad Al-Turaiji, Director of Military Cooperation Brigadier General Fahad Al-Otaibi, and a number of senior military officers. (KUNA)
