ISTANBUL, Aug 25: The Kuwait U-20 national team is set to face the Turkish Sakarya team today as part of its ongoing training camp in Turkey, which will run until September 12. This camp is a key preparation phase for the Asian Youth Cup qualifiers, scheduled to take place in China next year. The camp also serves as preparation for the third group competitions in the Asian Cup qualifiers, which Kuwait will host from September 21 to 29. Kuwait's group includes teams from Lebanon, the UAE, South Korea, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

Croatian coach Dario Bašić has selected 24 players for Kuwait’s U-20 squad: Muqdad Safar, Talal Al-Matroud, Jassim Shamouh, Hussein Kankouni, Hussein Al-Aryan, Abdullah Fares, Abdullah Al-Ayoub, Khaled Al-Kharqawi, Abdullah Al-Sarraf, Khaled Al-Othman, Mohammed Arhama, Mohammed Al-Suraie, Ahmed Boudi, Jassim Al-Matar, Fadel Al-Sarraf, Turki Al-Yousef, Mohammed Al-Omran, Abdullah Al-Basri, Ahmed Al-Rashidi, Montaser Suleiman, Omar Al-Azmi, Eid Talal, Jassim Al-Enezi, and Bandar Nawaf.
