KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs announced Sunday that the national campaign “It’s Your Turn” will officially launch on November 2 and continue until December 3, featuring wide participation from government agencies, private organizations, and volunteer groups.
In a press statement, Minister Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah said the campaign aims to make Kuwait cleaner and more beautiful, emphasizing that the cleanliness of the country reflects the nation’s authentic values and serves as a mirror of its identity and sense of belonging across generations.
Al-Huwailah described the campaign as more than just an effort to clean public spaces, calling it a movement to “stir up the national sense” and a reminder that every individual has a role in preserving the country’s image. She stressed the importance of collaboration across all sectors of society to promote a culture of environmental care, maintain public facilities, and encourage volunteerism in these efforts.
“The ‘It’s Your Turn’ campaign will consolidate the idea that cleanliness begins with you and ends with you,” Al-Huwailah said. She added that the initiative aims to inspire greater community participation, dedication, and sacrifice to ensure Kuwait remains a safe, bright, and beautiful oasis for all.
The campaign will mobilize citizens, residents, and volunteers nationwide, highlighting the government’s commitment to environmental stewardship and civic responsibility while reinforcing Kuwait’s image as a country that values cleanliness, community involvement, and sustainable development.
