Kuwait discuss with Sri Lanka about Sri Lankan residence violators

KUWAIT, May 18: Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah on Monday telephoned the Foreign Minister of the Socialist Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka, Dinesh Gunawardana, during which he discussed the overall bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the frameworks for enhancing joint cooperation towards facing repercussions. During the call, the issue of Sri Lankan workers residing illegally in the State of Kuwait was also discussed, and coordination was taken directly regarding the operation of deportation planes that violate the Residence Law starting from tomorrow, Tuesday, with the flights continuing successively in the coming days.(KUNA)
