Kuwait shuts down facilities over safety violations in Shuaiba

Kuwait Fire Force authorities enforce fire safety rules in the Shuaiba Industrial Zone.

KUWAIT CITY, June 18: The General Fire Force conducted an inspection campaign on Tuesday evening in the Shuaiba Industrial Area, in cooperation with several government agencies, including the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Public Authority for Industry, the Environment Public Authority, and Kuwait Municipality.

The campaign aimed to identify buildings and facilities in violation of safety and fire prevention regulations.

As a result of the campaign, several violations were recorded, and a number of establishments were administratively closed due to their failure to meet the requirements set by the General Fire Force, along with the regulations of the other participating authorities.
