ABU DHABI, Dec. 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti shooters grabbed three diverse medals Tuesday in the Arab shooting tournament currently held in the UAE Emirate of Sharjah.
Female shooter Maryam Arzouqi snatched the silver medal in the Women 10m Air Rifle contest.
In the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Double Team competition, the Kuwaiti team of shooters Maryam Arzouqi and Khaled Al-Fadhli won the silver medal.
In the 10m Air Rifle Women Team contest, the Kuwaiti team of Maryam Arzouqi, Hessa Al-Zayyed and Monira Al-Anjari secured the bronze medal.
Secretary General of the Kuwait Shooting Federation and Arab Shooting Federation Obeid Al-Ossami hailed the Kuwaiti shooters' performance.
In addition to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Iraq, Sudan, Syria and the UAE are taking part in the tournament
