Kuwait Shines with 32 Medals in Arab Championship for Weightlifting

Kuwait City, Nov 2:  The Kuwaiti national team’s success was attributed to the remarkable performances of its athletes. They earned a total of 19 medals, with notable achievements from athletes like Malak Al-Haddad, who secured both gold and bronze medals. Other outstanding players included Amal Mesaieed with three silver medals, Abrar Al-Fahad with three silver medals, Fatima Al-Balushi with three bronze medals, and Hanan Al-Amir with three bronze medals. Hanouf Al-Majran, Zahraa Kamshad, and Zainab Al-Mohammad also contributed to the medal tally with their performances.

In addition to these achievements, the Blue Weightlifters garnered 13 medals, with notable performances from athletes like Hamid Akbar, who secured three silver medals, Muhammad Al-Mulla with two silver and a bronze, Hussein Munshid with three bronze medals, Fahd Al-Otaibi with one bronze, and Ali Shams with three bronze medals.

Al-Jassar commended the efforts of the Kuwaiti champions in the tournament, especially highlighting the rising star Malak Al-Haddad, who clinched the gold medal in the under-45 kilogram weight category for the youth division. He emphasized that this achievement was a source of great pride for her and the country, dedicating the victory to the political leadership of Kuwait and the entire Kuwaiti weightlifting community.
