Kuwait Sets September 4 as Official Holiday

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: The Civil Service Commission announced that all ministries, government agencies, and public institutions will be closed on Thursday, September 4, in observance of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday for the year 1447 AH.

The CSC confirmed on its official X account that normal government operations will resume on Sunday, September 7.

The statement also noted that authorities and agencies with specialized duties may determine their own holiday schedules based on operational requirements and public interest.
