KUWAIT CITY, March 2: The Kuwait School Sports and Education Federation is orchestrating the culmination of sports activities for kindergartens at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Hall Complex in Sabah Al-Salem. Approximately 1,000 male and female students from all regions of Kuwait will participate in the festival, featuring various sports and recreational activities aimed at developing participants' capabilities and fostering a love for sports, are it in group or individual games.
Faisal Al-Maqseed, President of the Federation, emphasized the commitment of the Kuwait Sports Federation for School Sports and Higher Education to their strategy, "Our Talents in Our Schools 2021-2022," which focuses on discovering, nurturing, and developing talented athletes from kindergarten to university education across all educational regions.
Al-Maqseed noted that this marks the second consecutive year for the kindergarten festival, building on the success of the inaugural edition last year. The technical committee expanded this year's activities, with over 100 kindergarten supervisors participating in the festival—a notable achievement in the current period. Al-Maqseed extended invitations to dignitaries, including the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Communications, the Director General of the General Sports Authority, and Deputy Director-Generals, to witness the conclusion of kindergarten activities. These activities are seen as the foundation for nurturing a new sports generation emerging from the educational sector, reinforcing Kuwaiti sports' support for local clubs and national teams across various games and activities.
Expressing gratitude, Al-Maqseed thanked the Ministry of Education's kindergarten guidance, the general direction of physical education, and the educational development and activities sector for their unwavering support of the Union's activities and events.
