Kuwait Revokes Citizenship Of 24 Nationals For Holding Foreign Passports

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 21: The Kuwait Government's official gazette, Kuwait Al-Youm, announced a decision by the Supreme Nationality Investigation Committee to revoke the citizenship of 24 individuals.

The ruling was issued under Article 11 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 on the Kuwaiti Nationality Law, which stipulates that “a Kuwaiti citizen loses nationality if he voluntarily acquires a foreign nationality.”
