RIYADH, June 25: Kuwaiti national futsal team for men qualified for the semifinals at the 2022 Arab Futsal Championship by defeating their Palestinian counterparts through penalty kicks with a score of 4-1 after the match ended in a 4-4 draw in Saudi Arabia’s Dammam city .
Kuwait’s team player Saleh Al-Fadil won the player of the match award. The Moroccan team qualified for the semifinals after beating Libya 3-0, while Egypt qualified for the same round by defeating Mauritania 3-2, whereas the Iraqi team were also able to go to the semifinals after their victory over Saudi Arabia with a score 3-2. The Kuwait will meet Iraq in the semifinals on Sunday, while Morocco face Egypt to determine the final due on June 28.(KUNA)
