KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3:  Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior stated on its social media account that its Criminal Security Sector, through the General Department for Drug Control, has foiled the activity of a drug dealer in the Al-Sulaibiya area.

Authorities apprehended the suspect, Fahd Mater Al-Rashidi, a Saudi national, following careful monitoring and surveillance. Officials seized approximately 20 kilograms of methamphetamine (shabu) and two electronic scales. Investigations revealed that the drugs were intended for trafficking for illicit profit.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that security agencies continue to intensify efforts to protect the nation and its citizens from these dangerous substances. It called on the public to cooperate and report any suspicious activity via the emergency hotline (112), describing community participation as a key element in supporting security operations and maintaining public safety.
