KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: The Ministry of Interior, through its Security Directorates Affairs Sector, conducted a series of wide-ranging security campaigns across all governorates on Friday, under the direct supervision of Major General Hamad Al-Manifi, Head of the Sector. These campaigns were launched as part of ongoing efforts to preserve public safety, enforce the law, and apprehend wanted individuals.
The operations resulted in the apprehension of 638 cases involving various offenses, including:
- 46 wanted individuals for cases ranging from criminal charges and debt-related issues to absconding and immigration investigations.
- 26 residency law violators.
- 19 individuals found without any form of identification.
- 16 drug-related cases.
- 9 cases of unregulated labor.
- 1 vehicle seized.
- 13 cases involving intoxicating substances and alcohol.
- 8 vehicles seized under judicial orders.
- 17 individuals caught with expired residency permits.
- 2 individuals apprehended for intoxication.
- 2 cases of suspected abnormal behavior.
- 1 individual referred for psychiatric care.
- 2 gambling-related cases.
- 1 minor arrested for driving without a license.
- 1 street vendor operating illegally.
- 481 traffic violations issued.
The Ministry emphasized that such campaigns will continue across all governorates, with strict legal measures to be taken against those who violate the rules. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the law, protecting citizens and residents, and ensuring the safety and stability of the country.
