Kuwait plans to enhance online counseling services for communities
Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, chairs a meeting to follow up on the development project for the Supreme Council for Family Affairs’ services.

KUWAIT CITY, August 11: Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs (MoSA), Family, and Childhood Affairs, and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), reaffirmed her dedication to enhancing the council’s digital services in the fields of psychological and social counseling, as well as protection against domestic violence.

The minister made these remarks during a meeting held on Sunday to follow up on the project aimed at developing the SCFA’s services and launching its new website. The platform is being developed in collaboration with Microsoft to offer comprehensive services through a cutting-edge digital environment.

During the session, Dr. Al-Huwailah reviewed the detailed plans for the website’s launch, alongside the necessary technical and organizational preparations to ensure the platform’s readiness. She emphasized the importance of making digital services accessible and user-friendly for all beneficiaries.

Moreover, the minister highlighted the council’s ongoing efforts to modernize its operational systems, aligning them with Kuwait’s local legislation and relevant international agreements to better serve the community.
