Kuwait participates in launch of Saudi Big 5 exhibition in Riyadh

RIYADH, Feb 20: The works of the Saudi Big 5 exhibition kicked off on Sunday in Riyadh, with the participation of a delegation from the Kuwait Public Authority for Industry, along with ten factories. Kuwait’s Deputy Director General of the Industrial Exports Sector at the authority, Dr. Sanad Al-Ajmi, confirmed in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of the exhibition, which will last until 21 of this February, the participation of the State of Kuwait represented by the Authority in this exhibition comes from its importance and the knowledge of the latest technology in industries and factories.A large number of factories from around the world to present their products.

He said that the Authority is also seeking, through these participation to support Kuwaiti factories and give them the opportunity to present their products to a large number of participating companies and those interested in a number of industries. In addition to giving them the opportunity to meet and learn about what the participants in this exhibition present in terms of the latest technologies and industries from around the world. Al-Ajmi indicated that the participation of the State of Kuwait this year in the exhibition that is being held in Riyadh, includes ten factories of various fields, including contracting, shutterboards and “kiribi”chemicals, recycling, modern buildings, doors and woodwork.

Al-Ajmi explained that he took into consideration, in designing the Kuwaiti pavilion, highlighting the name of Kuwait to be attractive to all interested parties, as it covers an area of 180 square meters and includes all Kuwaiti factories participating in the exhibition, in order to make it easier for visitors to identify all the exhibits in one place, stressing the Authority’s keenness to support and give the opportunity for all Kuwaiti factories that offer high quality products to participate in such international forums.

The Kuwaiti Public Authority for Industry delegation included the co-Director of the Promotion and Export Opportunities Department at the Authority, Hammad Al-Zoubi, and the Head of the Exhibitions and Promotional Activities Department at the Authority, Lina Al-Musa. (KUNA)
