Kuwait Olympic team trains intensively in Bangkok ahead of U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers

BANGKOK, Aug 27: Kuwait’s Olympic soccer team trained twice, with sessions in the morning and evening, as part of its preparation camp in Bangkok, Thailand.

The team will remain in Bangkok until next Monday before heading to Myanmar to compete in the qualifiers for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia. Kuwait has been drawn in Group B alongside Myanmar, Japan, and Afghanistan, with the qualifiers scheduled from September 3 to 9, 2025.

During the Bangkok camp, the Olympic team played three friendly matches, securing victories over Nonthaburi FC (2-0), Malaysia (1-0), and Oman (1-0), and showcasing strong form ahead of the crucial qualifiers.
