KUWAIT, April 22: Kuwait Municipality announced today, Wednesday, the closure of 15 basements in violation of investment properties in the Khaitan region, in violation of precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid 19).

In a press release issued by the Kuwait Municipality, the head of the Violations Removal Department at the Municipality of Al-Farwaniyah Governorate branch, Fahd Al-Muwaziri, said that the municipality had conducted a field tour in cooperation with the General Authority for Manpower and the Firefighting General Administration on real estate vouchers in the investment housing and used as warehouses in the Khaitan region in light of the efforts made by the Kuwait Municipality to confront the repercussions (Corona).

Al-Muwaisri explained that the team uncovered 30 properties, liberating 15 violations of opening and managing a store without obtaining the approval of the municipality, and sent warnings to real estate owners to exploit real estate for a purpose other than that authorized by the construction regulations, noting that workforce inspectors have released 10 violations of a violation work.

He added that the municipality is implementing the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the decisions of the Ministry of Health within the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the municipality to avoid the spread of the virus and based on the receipt of reports related to the existence of clusters in the breaches of the violated real estate.

He stated that the municipal supervisory teams intensify their field trips to real estate vaults in all governorates to ensure that realtors adhere to the requirements and specifications.

Al-Muwaisiri called on the real estate owners to abide by all the municipality's regulations and regulations to avoid the violation and administrative closure, calling them to cooperate with the municipal control teams during the field inspection of the real estate.
