Kuwait Municipality ramps up inspection tours of complexes – 141 warnings in Hawally

KUWAIT CITY, July 1: The Kuwait Municipality announced the ramped up inspection tours in major commercial complexes, markets, restaurant centers, cafes, health institutes, barbershops and beauty salons in various governorates to follow up the implementation of the Cabinet’s decision to allow those who have received the anti-Corona vaccine and the groups exempted from receiving it to enter those places.

The Municipality said in a press Thursday that the tours aim to achieve community immunity and within the framework of the efforts made by the supervisory teams to follow up on the application of health requirements and the Municipality’s controls and systems. She pointed out that the supervisory team in the Hawally municipality branch made several field tours, which resulted, since the beginning of the implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision in all regions of the governorate from 27 to 30 last June, in issuing 141 warnings and issuing eight violations for non-compliance with health requirements. The head of the emergency team at the governorate’s municipality branch, Ibrahim Al-Sabaan, indicated that the inspectors of the supervisory team continue their field tours in all areas to monitor all violations by shops. Al-Sabaan stressed that they will spare no effort to monitor and follow up violators of the conditions, regulations in force and apply health requirements to limit the spread of COVID-19, and that they will not hesitate to take all legal measures against violators, leading to administrative closure.
