Kuwait Ministry of Health holds nursing management and leadership workshop

The Ministry of Health organizes a specialized workshop on management and leadership for nursing staff in collaboration with international experts.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: The Ministry of Health (MoH) organized a specialized training workshop on management and leadership for nursing staff, in cooperation with international experts, the ministry said on Monday.

Titled “Nursing Management and Leadership,” the workshop is part of the MoH’s ongoing efforts to enhance the skills and competencies of nursing cadres across the country.

The three-day program, led by Saudi expert Dr. Hattan Al-Subhi, included 30 assistant chief nursing staff members from various health sectors.

The training focused on leadership development, strategic planning, emotional intelligence, and effective communication, and included practical exercises in capacity building, conflict resolution, and staff motivation, the ministry said.

The workshop reflects the MoH’s broader vision of empowering nursing leaders and strengthening healthcare management nationwide.
