Kuwait Minister of Social Affairs dissolves 10 public benefit associations

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: The Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, issued decisions to dissolve ten public benefit associations, the Official Gazette (Kuwait Alyoum) reported today.

The ministerial decisions require the boards of directors and employees of the dissolved associations to refrain from disposing of any funds or documents. They are also mandated to hand over all assets and records in their possession to the individuals assigned by the Ministry to conduct liquidation procedures.

The ten associations dissolved are:

Kuwait National Brotherhood Society
Kuwait Charity Forum Association
Sports Strategic Planning Association
Kuwait Food and Nutrition Association
Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning
Kuwait Translators Association
Kuwait Arabian Horse Society
Kuwait Historical Society
Kuwait Project Management Association

The Ministry emphasized that the liquidation process will be overseen by its designated representatives to ensure proper handling of the associations’ affairs.

The dissolution decisions were published today in the Official Gazette, signaling immediate enforcement.
