KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, said on Monday that the Supreme Committee for Visit Kuwait activities serves as a national umbrella aimed at unifying efforts to organize tourism, cultural, and entertainment events under the “Visit Kuwait” platform.

Al-Mutairi made the remarks following his chairmanship of the committee’s first meeting held at the Ministry of Information’s headquarters, according to a ministry press statement. Representatives from government bodies, civil society organizations, and the private sector attended the meeting.

The minister said the committee’s formation reflects the Ministry’s vision to promote national tourism and highlight Kuwait’s cultural and humanitarian identity, in line with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.

He added that the meeting discussed the action plan for the next phase, implementation mechanisms, and enhanced cooperation among member entities to ensure coordinated efforts and unified promotional messages.

Al-Mutairi emphasized that such coordination aims to generate a positive impact on the national economy, boost tourism, and strengthen public-private partnerships to develop further the “Visit Kuwait” platform and reinforce Kuwait’s standing as a leading cultural and tourist destination in the region.
