Kuwait launches crackdown on illegal encroachments in desert zones
Kuwait Municipality launches major campaign to remove illegal encroachments in the desert.

KUWAIT CITY, June 30: Yousef Al-Fajji, head of the Kuwait Municipality’s team responsible for monitoring and removing encroachments on state property, announced the initiation of large-scale operations targeting illegal constructions and violations in desert areas. The campaign focuses on clearing unauthorized warehouses, residences, and rest houses across multiple locations.

Al-Fajji revealed that the team has devised a multi-phase action plan with clear timelines, prioritizing the removal of existing encroachments on land as the first stage of the operation.

Regarding concerns related to grazing areas, Al-Fajji emphasized that any violations will be promptly addressed. However, the team will first assess the specific needs of grazing activities before proceeding with any removals to ensure compliance with regulations.
