Kuwait revokes the citizenship of 11 individuals through two official decrees.
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: Two decrees were issued today in the Official Gazette of Kuwait, revoking the citizenship of 11 individuals and those who obtained it through affiliation.
The first decree, No. 157 of 2025, cancels citizenship for seven people and any individuals who acquired nationality through them. The second decree, No. 158 of 2025, applies to four individuals and those who gained citizenship by affiliation.
The decisions mark the latest measures regarding the status of Kuwaiti nationality, as published in the official government record.
