Acting Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Mohammad Al-Mannai receives the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Adarsh Swaika.

KUWAIT CITY, June 25: Acting Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Mohammad Al-Mannai and Ambassador of India to Kuwait Dr. Adarsh Swaika discussed on Wednesday ways to enhance media cooperation and several media-related issues. During the meeting at the agency’s headquarters, the two sides stressed the importance of the media’s role in supporting bilateral relations between the two countries and pushing them to broader horizons. The meeting emphasized the importance of exchanging media expertise between KUNA and media institutions in India and building bridges of cooperation and joint training.

The meeting also touched upon the foundations of KUNA’s work and its objective handling of various issues through its network of correspondents and offices around the world, particularly in India. For his part, Ambassador Swaika praised KUNA’s efforts, its objective approach to news coverage, and its role in highlighting Kuwait’s position on regional and international issues. He emphasized his country’s efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with Kuwait at all levels, particularly in the media. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director General for Editorial Affairs Esam Al-Ghanim and Director of Marketing and Public Relations Lamya Al-Faresi. (KUNA)
