KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: Fahid Al-Ajmi, President of the Kuwaiti Winter Games Club, announced that the Kuwaiti junior ice hockey team (comprising players under 12 years of age) recently conducted a training camp in Dubai, a bustling Emirati city. During this camp, they engaged in two friendly matches against the Emirati Galaxy Academy team.

Al-Ajmi elaborated on the primary objective behind this initiative, which is to nurture a generation of promising players who will eventually form the backbone of Kuwaiti ice hockey. He emphasized how both sets of players benefited immensely from these encounters, particularly in terms of exposure to the competitive match environment. Furthermore, Al-Ajmi commended the warm welcome extended to the Kuwaiti delegation in the Emirates, a gesture that came as no surprise.
