KUWAIT CITY, July 28:  The Kuwait Handball Association has officially approved its candidates for positions in the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) ahead of the upcoming elections, set to take place on December 20 in Cairo.

During a recent board meeting attended by all members, the federation nominated International Handball Federation Vice President Bader Al-Dheab for the presidency of the AHF and Secretary General Qaed Al-Adwani for the position of AHF Treasurer for the 2025–2029 term.

Additional nominations include Treasurer Khaled Taleb for the Organizing and Competitions Committee, board member Mishaal Al-Qabandi for the Coaching Committee, Nasser Al-Da’as for the Development and Public Relations Committee, and Fahad Al-Hajri for the Referees Committee.

The board also decided to reject the nomination of former treasurer Faisal Baqer for the AHF treasurer role.

Vice President Shabeeb Al-Hajri and Secretary General Qaed Al-Adwani were selected to represent Kuwait at the AHF General Assembly and elections in December.
