KUWAIT CITY, July 3: The governors of Kuwait’s six governorates convened to discuss strengthening joint cooperation and advancing the development of public services and facilities across the country.
The meeting, held at the office of the Farwaniya Governorate, brought together key figures including the Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah; the Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer; Acting Governor of Hawalli, Sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah; Governor of Jahra, Hamad Al-Habshi; Governor of Ahmadi, Sheikh Hmoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; and the Director General of the General Department of Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah.
According to a statement issued by the Farwaniya Governorate, the meeting aimed to enhance coordination among the governorates, address business development issues, and discuss the responsibilities of governorate councils. The gathering also focused on matters that contribute to supporting development and upgrading public services and facilities for citizens.
The governors emphasized that the meeting continues the ongoing collaborative approach between the governorates and relevant authorities, working together in a unified spirit to fulfill the vision of Kuwait’s leadership and improve the quality of services to meet the aspirations of the public.
Farwaniya Governor highlighted that such coordination meetings strengthen integration between the governorates and positively impact the development of operational mechanisms. This approach is designed to keep pace with urban growth and demographic changes, ultimately serving both citizens and residents in alignment with the state’s overall policies.
