KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: The General Fire Force, in coordination with multiple government agencies, carried out a comprehensive inspection campaign in the Jahra Industrial Area on Sunday morning. The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Ministry of Commerce, the Public Authority for Industry, the Environment Public Authority, and the Kuwait Municipality.

The campaign aimed to identify and address violations of safety and fire prevention regulations within industrial facilities and commercial establishments in the area.

Following the inspections, authorities ordered the administrative closure of 28 industrial establishments and shops found to be in serious violation of the required safety standards. Additionally, 46 warnings and official notifications were issued to other facilities that failed to comply with regulations set by the General Fire Force.

The coordinated effort reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to enforcing safety standards and minimizing fire-related risks in industrial zones nationwide.
