MANAMA, Sept 1: The Kuwait national fencing team achieved an impressive haul of nine medals on the second day of the West Asia Fencing Championship in Bahrain, which continues through September 4.
Rashid Al-Shammari, head of Kuwait’s delegation, praised the athletes for their exceptional performances, noting that the tournament serves as a key benchmark for fencing standards in the region.
He also highlighted the strong support and attention provided by the Kuwait Fencing Federation, in line with the vision of the Public Authority for Sports and the country’s commitment to developing young athletes.
