Kuwait expels vehicles, motorists – Vehicles in violation bear GCC plate numbers

KUWAIT CITY, May 12: The Directorate-General of Traffic Affairs has announced that the Kuwaiti traffic authorities have expelled a new batch of vehicles bearing GCC plate numbers from the country because these vehicles were used for holding illegal races and reckless driving, reports Al- Anba daily.

The Ministry of Interior attributed the expulsion to violating the road safety terms and conditions. Most of the motorists were arrested with their vehicles during a crackdown on violators of the traffic laws. The vehicles were expelled from the country through the Nuwaiseeb border crossing in coordination with the General Administration of Customs.
