BELGRADE, July 10: The president of the Kuwait Diving and Rescue Association, Eng. Talal Al-Sarhan, announced after the World Freediving Championship in Belgrade, Serbia, that our team secured two medals: a silver and a bronze, thanks to the efforts of Mai Al-Badr. Additionally, the team set eight new national records through the performances of Mai Al-Badr, Alia Al-Salem, Fi Al-Awadi, Fahd Al-Kandari, and Abdullah Al-Hammad.

He noted that the tournament included the participation of the Chairman of the Association’s Technical Committee, M. Hani bin Hussein, who served as a referee. Al-Sarhan expressed his immense happiness and pride in the delegation's achievements, emphasizing the growing popularity and acceptance of diving in Kuwaiti society. Al-Sarhan concluded by stressing the urgent need for the reinstatement of financial support for the club, which has not received any funding for the past two years.
