Kuwait depart to Dammam for World Cup qualifier

KUWAIT CITY Nov 16:The Kuwait is set to depart for Dammam today, as they gear up to face Afghanistan on Tuesday in the second round of Group A competitions within the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico, as well as the 2027 Asian Cup in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Group A also includes Qatar and India.
Afghanistan played their match in Dammam due to the instability of security in their country.
Pinto selected a squad of 26 players for the upcoming matches. The list includes Abdul Rahman Kamil, Fahd Al-Hajri, Mohsen Falah, Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, Reda Hani, Muhammad Dahham, Ahmed Al-Zenki, Faisal Zayed, Suleiman Abdul Ghafour, Salman Al-Awadi, Sultan Al-Anzi, Hassan Hamdan, Abdullah Ammar, Badr Tariq, Hamad Al-Qallaf, Bandar Al-Salama, Abdulaziz Wadi, Khaled Ibrahim, Eid Al-Rashidi, Mubarak Al-Fanini, Hamad Al-Harbi, Aqeel Al-Hazeem, Athbi Shehab, Mahdi Dashti, Shabib Al-Khalidi, and Abdul Rahman Al-Majdali.
