KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: The Criminal Court rejected a request to release a lawyer accused of trafficking and smuggling drugs from London, along with a young man and woman. This request was made after the defendants were caught in a well-planned entrapment set up by the Drug Control General Department at the Interior Ministry, following intelligence gathering about the defendants’ activities. During the hearing, the defense team requested the release of the defendants on bail, but the court rejected the request and ordered the continuation of their detention. The hearing was adjourned until Nov 3 to listen to the statements of witnesses.
