ASTANA, Sept 24: The Kuwaiti shooting team secured a silver medal at the ongoing Asian Shooting Championship in Kazakhstan, with Salah Al-Rashidi taking second place in the "Trap" competition. Kuwait now leads the championship standings with a total of four medals: three gold and one silverو ahead of the Kazakhstan and China teams, who are in second and third places, respectively.
Earlier, Nasser Al-Muqallad claimed the gold medal in the men's category. Alongside his teammates Talal Al-Rashidi and Abdulrahman Al-Faihan, he also secured the gold medal in the men's team competition. Meanwhile, the women's team, consisting of Shahad Al-Hawal, Sarah Al-Hawal, and Reem Al-Zamanan, triumphed to win the gold medal in their respective team event.
