KUWAIT CITY, June 17: The Ministry of Social Affairs has reassured the public that Kuwait’s strategic stockpile of essential goods is secure, readily available, and sufficient to meet the country’s needs for several months. In an official statement, the ministry emphasized that it has a comprehensive emergency response plan in place, with full logistical readiness through cooperative societies across all governorates.
Dismissing recent rumors of shortages in food, water, or bread, the ministry stressed that operations are proceeding smoothly and in coordination with relevant authorities. “Rest assured, everything is under control,” the statement added, urging the public not to give in to panic.
