KUWAIT, Aug 21: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Sunday Kuwait's solidarity with the Republic of Turkey after two separate road accidents left dozens of casualties in Gaziantep and Mardin provinces, southeast Turkey. The State of Kuwait stands by the leaders, government and people of sisterly Turkey, extends sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wishes the wounded a quick recovery, according to a statement by the Ministry.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Embassy in Ankara said all Kuwaiti nationals living in Turkey were safe and sound after the two horrific accidents. Since the first beginning of the tragedy, the Embassy contacted the competent authorities in Turkey who certified that there were no Kuwaitis among the victims, according to an Embassy statement.
